"Echoes from Middle-Earth" is a concept album of songs inspired by the poems in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The songs focus on some of the greatest heroes of Middle-Earth including Tom Bombadil, Frodo, Aragorn, Treebeard, Beren and Luthien, as well as on the main events in The Lord of the Rings from Sauron's forging of the One Ring to the moving passage when Frodo departs from his friends at the Grey Havens. The songs are meant to be a music translation of the main emotions that I felt when reading Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. As the mood in Tolkien's poems greatly varies, my songs are very different from each other, and belong to what I would define as the "Middle-Earth" genre. I hope you will enjoy them. The album cover artwork was made by great Tolkien illustrator Andrea Piparo.
